Aluminium-alloy backing plate with UV coating; rubber underlay protects the paint. Compatible with Starlink Mini only (Gen3 is too heavy for magnetic hold at speed).

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it work on aluminium / fibreglass roofs?
No — magnets only grip ferrous (steel) surfaces. For aluminium or fibreglass roofs choose a clamp-style or suction-cup mount.
Can I leave it on through a car wash?
No. Brush washes can shear the magnets sideways. Removal is 5 seconds — there's no reason not to.
Will it damage paint?
No, when used correctly. The included rubber underlay protects the paint and the magnets pull straight down (not sideways). Always lift straight off; never slide.
