Frequently Asked Questions

Why not just use an inverter?
+
A 12V→120V AC inverter draws 20–30 W just to be on. The Starlink power brick then converts AC back to DC — wasting more. This skips both stages.
Will it work with a solar charge controller?
+
Yes — it accepts any 10.5–32 V DC source. Tested with Victron, Renogy, and EPEVER MPPT/PWM controllers.
Does it work with Starlink Gen3?
+
No. Gen3 needs AC input. Use an inverter for Gen3, or pick the Mini for true DC operation.
